Hey guys, wanted to do a review on a scope I finally got to try out yesterday... It's a sightron 4-16x42 with a 1/8" @ 100 adjustments... To start with I bought this scope from eBay for around $230.00 which is quite a bit lower than the new price... Sightrons SII and SIII line of scopes will track and box test and are said to be at the top of the list for accuracy in the adjustments... Mine has a plex reticle, 1" tube, AO front lense, capped target turrets... The glass is very clear!!! I mounted it on my ultra accurate white mosin 28/76 and it worked flawlessly from 100 out to 435 yds... At 435 yds I shot a 1.80" 5 shot group with a 10 mph left to right wind using my handloads... I use strelok+ and the scope was exactly as the calculator showed... It has plenty of eye relief... It is a top notch scope that can be found at a reasonable price, even new... My only knock on my particular model is it has only 7 1/2 moa in one rotation of the turret... I would recommend this scope to anyone wanting a tough and reliable scope at an affordable price...
