Welcome to the forum, Sorry I couldn't reply sooner, I've been unable to do much since my Time Warner account was down for almost 11 days. Anyway. Welcome

Mark

I see your hand guard has the brass metal inlays. Very nice. That will look good with a PEM cause they mostly had the brass ones anyway.

sorry, the one with the brass end pieces is my son's 1930
He won't let me touch it - not even to put in a Finn trigger or shim the barrel - it's such a beautiful rifle, he just wants it kept original.

an M39 is next on my list, but this PEM sniper is taking all my Mosin funds for now - still have 1 child in collage.

Only reason I can build this PEM is my daughter just graduated
into the worst job market in recent history - she had to move home and I'm still supporting her - forgive my politics!!!

This is what aggravates me on on the accounts PE scope. The top one is a genuine and is mounted correctly. the bottom one is a Accumounts and can you spot the problem. There is no way to mount it correctly like the top one case the rings are not spaced correctly.

is that a Finn rifle? the rear sight looks different to me.

I also noted the SA stamp on the original top PE mount
