Sig Sauer MOS22 aka Mosquito light strikes

Postby Marauder 1 » Fri Nov 25, 2016 11:55 pm

OK took the rifles and pistols out today for a little family time, had a great day at the range. I did some preliminary testing on a scope for review and took the new AR out to play. All was going great until I got the Sig out.

IF I loaded the Sig with CCI Mini Mags it fired perfectly and no jams or stove pipes etc. However if I used any other brand of ammo the pistol would FTF. The cases showed the firing pin was striking but it was not hard enough to cause primer detonation.

The only thing I can come up with is maybe the CCI's have a thicker rim and thus get harder strikes. I'm going to go through all my brass I brought home and see what the CCI stuff measures at. But if any of you guys have any other suggestions I'm totally open to here them
Thanks
Mark
