Is that on the rifle or one the diopter? Looks like it's on the mount. Nice rig BTW

It has the sako mark on barrel rear sight, barrel is asev1, and the castle mark on the rear diopter...everything matches on serial #

Here's a real oddball - 28/30. No other markings on the top of barrel, other than the SA inside a square.

I don't think it's an odd ball, I think it's very early in production. The serial number should be on the wood line on left side and the date is actually under the barrel near the action. It will look similar to this 1276/32. Which means the 1276 barrel made in 1932.

Here is my 1929 Tula 91/30. I am having no luck finding what the, what looks like, the letter "D" above the star and the II to the left of that. That is if it means anything.. Here are some other of the markings on it also

Here is my latest addition. It is just a barrel and receiver. It is going to be part of my current project. It is a version of the M44 but not sure what national back ground
