I was wondering if someone could post a picture of what the typical welded up scope mount holes look like on a 91/30 ex sniper and what the stamp markings look like? Thanks

3 things prove it is a ex sniper. but not all ex snipers have all 3. my 1943 izzy has a large chunk of wood replaced at the left hand of the receiver at the spot the scope mount used to be. also some have a scope # lined out on the left side of the rear barrel. last and most important it will have screw plugs still in the inside of the receiver. my ex sniper has all 3 and i paid 250 dollars for it. it still has its better trigger and shims on the wood to help float the barrel. it would be tempting to re sniper it. but then i would be un doing what makes it a ex sniper.

All mine had was the scope numbers (not lined out) and welded bolt holes. As far as the trigger goes it was the worst I have ever used and my Timney was a VAST improvement.

The Tula PU snipers and ex-snipers have the C H or C and upside down N bracketing or somewhere around the factory stamp also. At least thats what I have seen in surfing the web.
