UK 59 Barrel

Postby Fung_13 » Fri Sep 04, 2015 5:03 pm

I know I'd probably get further by holding my breath, but, anyone have or know where I could fine a UK 59 barrel?

Also a high wall round receiver?

I have scrubbed the internet for both and have drawn a blank. Any help or leads would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Last UK barrel I saw was 400$. Just buy a mcGowen blank and get someone like Joe at Anacortes prototyps to put it on. You will have a modern barrel and better shooting rig in the end for the same $$s.

I was also looking at blanks. It is basically a 30 cal barrel and then chambered for the 54r, right? Shilen thru Midway has blanks for $100-130.

Ya that is your best bet. And reloading will be way easier because you can find 308 bullets way better then 311.
