Finn trigger enhanement

Postby farmerboy78 » Sat Apr 02, 2016 5:00 am

Guys I wanted to share some info with you about finn triggers and a mod I did to my trigger to lower the lbs of the pull. So I have been shooting my suppressed 28/76 long range and have noticed that the trigger is still a little heavy for my liking. It is very crisp in the second stage, but heavy. So I removed the action from the stock and worked the trigger to see right where the sear spring has the most movement. I then removed the sear spring and using a Dremel, with a fine grinding stone, I began to lightly grind away material very little at a time. I ground a small amount on both sides and tested very often for function, in between the light grinding. When I got to where I really liked it I stopped and inspected the sear spring. I barely removed any material, but the lbs change dramatically. From what I could tell I only went deep enough to smoothen out the machine marks left on the steel. Hope this helps some of you, just remember to remove very very little between safety checks!

Will this also work on a Non-Finn trigger , or is the design different enough that it only applies to Finn triggers ?
If not me.....Who ?
If not now ....When ?

Farm boy,
I resently purchased a Finnish M39 from Classic Arm, SAKO manufacture. It looks like a new gun, full blueing, wood almost perfect and looks like a new unshot barrel. I am tickled and would highly recommend anyone that has never purchased a M39 get one before they are gone. Mine shoots high compaired to all my 91/30. Like a foot and a half at 50 yards. Any suggestions?

Found the right sight from a guy in Sweden. Now it shoots correctly.
