bolt modification

Is there any way to better the locking time to make the firing pin move faster without affecting my trigger?

Well perhaps removing some material from the cocking piece would give you some improvement of your lock time, mechanically accelerating a heavier mass means it will take a longer time to reach full speed or travel a set distance. But the lock on my rifles doesn't seem all that slow. Do you have an actual measurement of the lock time?

Thanks
Mark

I did the same and love the feel of the new spring. It was worth the money, not that it cost a whole lot.
