New Adjustable Front Sight

Postby kcwomack » Fri Jun 13, 2014 7:46 pm

Just saw this on YouTube and was very impressed. All-in-one package Elevation and Windage Adjustable Front Sight with Windage Adjustment Tool with Hexkey Storage at a reasonable price. 8-)

Expensive, really? Other adjustable sights run $45 and Aluminum Windage Adjusters run $25 thats $70. This is a Steel Windage Adjuster with a graduated adjuster that is set to 1" graduations at 100yards and thats $68 Canadian or appox. $62.64 US. I think it's a pretty good deal. 8-)

josh smith will machine your front sight for $10 if you send it to him.you can adjust your front sight side to side for free.i love my smith sight. I have bought 6 of them and have another coming along with a smith 2 pin trigger. if you know the threads per inch of the screw used in this thing you could figure how much to move front sight for 1" at 100 yds. like if 40 tpi one complete turn equals 1/40th of inch. divide 1.000" by 40 will give distance to move. all frt sights have a line from factory so scribe line next to it distance to move sight.if hitting to right of center move sight right distance needed.

my friend bought 1. it works fairly good. will push frt sight off and will push it or the new sight sent. it comes with a complete new sight that replaces original completely. about $64 usa as $68 is Canadian. we have yet to go out shooting as all BLM land is closed due to the wildfires. I need to take my PU setup out for zeroing and shooting some hand loads. myself I have used smith-sights and love them.i already have a elby sight adjusting tool for M91-30 and for my T53s.
