Wheeler makes a cool looking vise with the little hardwood blocks but its insufficient to break loose a Mosin barrel. It will clean up with no problems. I knew it would come of and it did not alarm me at all.

This project is Looking like it mite be a success. Now first let me tell you a little about how terribly this thing shot. Like a scatter gun It was really the worst shooting gun I ever shot. Best group I ever got was 2.75in and that was with hand loads and resting 1:20 between shots to let the barrel cool. I tell you I tried everything to get here to shoot good but nothing helped. Tried Bedding it, quorking the barrel, different sites, hand loads, every type of factory bullet I could buy but nothing grouped under 4in consistently!

Now she is shooting much better. After firing 15 rounds to get it sited in I made a nice 2.5in group on a smoking hot barrel with junky surplus. Really am stoked about this one. I think with hand loads I might even be able to get it close to 1MOA!!

I shot a much better group with her on another day. vertical spread with the match ammo is really low. I will do a video with here once I finish testing my cork and finding the right spot for it.

Thanks Farmer boy.

Mark the left screen is Aperture and the right one is iMovie. Both are the same computer.

I see you've got a new shooting stand. I like it. You need to do a video review of it. I found a bipod I'm posting over in the equipment section.
