Hey guys I found another one...I just won the bid on an asev1 28/76 sniper barreled action that has both diopters with the scope base and is only missing the bottom metal and action screws...and won another bid on a m38 sitting in a 28/76 stock with a rail mounted bipod...I will be using the stock to complete the rifle...it has a little rust on the exterior and bluing is worn, so I will have it refinished in the future. ..can't wait to get it all together

if 28/76 uses MN M91-30 action screws I have a set if useful. this would be a pay it forward.

Yep I can.. The castle is the mark designating "The Finnish Defense Forces". This was used later on instead of the [SA] markings that designated the same thing. I have hear of double marked rifles with both the [SA] and castle marking.

Nice pickup. I'm wondering if it's a late 70's build.

Well I've gotten the rifle with the 28/76 stock, and it's in very good shape.nothing wrong with the wood that I can tell except for 2 hairline cracks in the wrist area, but they aren't all the way through. I plan to reinforce it and install pillars, and finish with a slight bedding. Waiting on my barreled action now.

Well here she is guys, I had a little tear in my eye after I got her all cleaned, lubed, and assembled... I used rusty duck black off to clean it all up, it's a muzzleloading cleaner. I couldn't believe the rust that came off the parts, that I couldn't even see. To the point that there is only spots where the bluing is rubbed off from wear. I think it's a beautiful thing.

I do have a question, I have the stock stripped of the nasty stuff on it and I'm wondering what type of lube would be best to keep up the wood
