Took three rifles to the range. A Remington Mosin Nagant, a New England Westinghouse Mosin Nagant, and a Winchester 95 lever action factory chambered in 7.62X54R to see which was the most accurate. The Westinghouse just edged out the Remmy and Win, with the Remmy being slightly better than the Win. The Westinghouse was the only one that was counterbored. Which proves my point that I would rather have a good shooting counterbored rifle than one non counterbored that might be improved by having one.
But a good time was had by all.
