I want to get this done asap. Its starting to get cold out here. Looks like all my shots will be cold bore shots. I cut my scope mount to add MOA and got it bedded, its rock solid now. I sighted in my SS 20X yesterday but ran out of time -- its real close. I have to check to see if my deviation is me or the new bipod or something else. I have got a CAA bipod and I'm learning to load against to slop in the legs. Back to the subject -- I'll be doing this as soon as I get some ammo loaded.
I walk in the foot steps of Carlos Hathcock -- to my end.

Well Jared, I shot a 50 too!!

I finally made it out to the range today... I had to sight it 2 AR's I built. I decided to throw my Mosin in, and shoot it last.

I shot prone, w/ a rear bag. Conditions were nice, hardly any wind, and cool.

Everything started off well. Colb Bore shot, 20 pts

Image

Then the three shot group stage... I don't know hat happened there. 10 pts

Image

Then the know your limits stage. I should have hit that one... though I probably still would have gotten a 0 because I'd have gone for the last square.

Image

Then the Hostage target. I was feeling pretty good, and I video taped it... both the target through my spotting scope, and me. I'm splicing it together like with that video of me shooting my .22. I'll put it together with some other Mosin footage and post it someday. Anyway... 20 pts for this stage.

Image

I guess I only 'missed' 3 out of 9 rounds... and they weren't by that much. But it looks like 50 is par for the course, unless one of you guys embarrass us. I'll probably end up shooting this again when I get my M28/76 put together!

That's some good shooting man. Great job. I can't shoot this good to even score yet. But with hand loads perhaps this will change. If only my dies would come

Good job T. It's a tough shoot. I'm going to do it again when I have time. In the military spirit, I may shoot it with my AR also. Curious for myself as to what it will do. I'm still hoping others jump in on this.

Thank you gentlemen... it is tough, though @ 100yds it's not impossible to clean.

I'll definitely have to shoot this course again in the near future...

Anyone else shot this?? I saw some asked if they could use different guns and such but as far as I've seen only T and myself have shot this.

That equals March 1st.

Jerry Will you be ready to shot this with me when you come up. I am loading bullets for it now.

I'm going to shoot this again w/ my M28/76. I've got her done... but I'm waiting as long as I can for the Dura-Coat to cure before I put her together.

Currently I'm waiting on a triad stock pack, and .30 cal bullets. I've got both on order, and I'll run a ladder test as soon as I get them in. I ordered 185 grain (.308") berger VLD's... I wish I could find some a tad heavier in stock... but they'll come around.

I'm planning on using her for the AZPRC match the second week in March, so it'll be a sec... and it might be early-mid March before I shoot it.
