Do you know if hollow core bullets are acceptable to shoot in the dry seasons? I want to take "Svetalana" (my 1922 Izzy) there to break her in, but all I have is mil-surp steel core. Thanks

This is one of the best shooting ranges. Rifle range is up to 350 yds. No steel core though, they'll check it with a magnet. I've been a range master couple times there.

what is "hollow core"? Do you mean "hollow point"? What make you think that you can't use it?

As long as there is no steel in the core of the bullet you should me fine. But the weight of the round is going to seriously affect it's accuracy and distance.
