As soon as i get mine done, i hope to enter. Its a struggle as i am teaching myself and also using youtube to help me with my rifle...with help from my man here and there too. I just pillar bedded it, im in the middle of steel bedding the action. Next I have to find someone to mount a RockSolid scope mount for me...then i will bed that. Then off to Teludyne. So maybe November?

I wouldn't mount that Rock Solid yet, why not have them mount it after the barrel is installed? Or just have them mount a rail on it for you.

will this some how interfere with the straight jacket?

i have a scope i want to use
its a bushnell banner 6x18x50
it is my understanding my options are:
a mount that will allow for long eye scope (which i dont want)

a cantilever- not sure of the eye relief i really want something with at least 3 points of contact

and lastly have teludyne do a special one which would require the bolt being moved backward and then a notch being cut into the receiver further to the rear? this would be silly for me to do as i have a max shepherd mod on the bolt.

am i missing another option?

thank you for the input Mark

I would think they would. In fact, I would think they would be the perfect ones to mount it! They are gunsmiths right? Is there something I am missing as to why they wouldn't?
