Well I have an update for this new load I'm trying...again it is 6.5-06 using .280 rem nosler brass reformed, 140gr berger hybrid, wlr primers, 55gr reloader 25...as you saw from the pics I previously posted it is a very accurate load...not only accurate, but it is moving faster than the accurate 4350 load... this new load is traveling at 2959 fps 10 shot average, with a 20fps sd...that is right at 68 fps faster in my 25.5" 5r bartlein barrel !!! I have definitely found an astounding load for black beast!

Well I joined a shooting range that goes out to 810yds...I took this rifle out with my new load and shot out to 750yds...took me 4.1 mils to get to that distance. I only had about a a 3-4 mph right to left wind with about a .3 mil adjustment for that...loving this rifle.

Sounds like a perfect day for shooting. It seems like every time I get out to the range the wind is blowing 10 to 15 mph full value.

I wish there was a range that went out past 600 yards near me. I have to drive out to my cousins land about an hour and a half away if I want to go out any further.

It was a great day for shooting, I'm working on a new load using h1000 that I plan to try out soon! It's shooting 1" @ 200yds...I think that's good considering my shooting abilities... hopefully it will shoot as good as the re 25 load...

Well, the h1000 is the ticket for the 6.5-06...it's temp stable, clean burning, and let me hit the velocity mark I was wanting...it's moving 3005 fps and is an absolute laser to 810yds. Fwiw, my load is 140 gr berger hybrid, reformed nosler 280 brass, 54.5 gr h1000, wlr primers with a cartridge oal of 3.50"
