Arg! I'm trying to save up for a NF ATACR F1 scope and now have to spend $700 on my car because I broke the DEF line somehow. Hopefully I can have the money for the scope saved by the time the scope is released for sale to the public.

I've already talked to NF they are going to fix it but I still have to wait a little longer to mount it and shot this rifle.

Yes Sir, I think it's the reticle lens or at least one of the internal lenses.

Wow. That's unusual. Night force are good scopes. Sucks that you have to wait again but I'm sure they'll make it right.

I know NF beats the crap out those scopes before they ever go out the door. I saw an episode of EOL where the guy went on a tour of the NF facility. I will find the link and post the video it's pretty neat to watch.

New rifle advice

Postby Gamecock24 » Mon May 18, 2015 2:43 pm

Other than the cracked lens the scope is very nice. Even with the cracked lens the clarity was phenomenal. The turrets felt very good with positive clicks. Fit and finish was great too. The reticle is what I want led simple clean not too bust like the the Horus reticles also the illumination is perfect too. Once I get the scope back and mounted on my rifle I will give a performance review, which I hope to have it back by the end of next week.

Why wouldn't they just send a new one pronto?

I did call the vendor first and they said normally that's what they would have done but with this scope having just hit the market are none of them sitting on the shelf so that couldn't happen. The scope will be delivered to NF today according to tracking so they probably won't even look at it until next Tuesday. Hopefully I'll have it by next Friday maybe they will give me some free stuff for the hassle. I did send a PM to a NF sales rep on Snipers Hide telling him how I was disappointed in buying a scope for $2800 and it showing up broke. SMH!
