I've began some load development for the 123gr amax, using varget...it shot well with 38.5gr, but began showing signs of pressure... I have loaded 3 rounds of each weight from 40 to 43 in 1/2 gr increments and I will do a ladder test to find my load...but this thing was just eating up this 123 gr pill...

Well I found my load today for my lrp...I am using reformed. 243 norma brass that is neck turned, 123gr hornady amax, wlr primers, and 42gr of accurate 4350...it will put 3 in a single hole at 50 yds...it is also traveling at 2920 fps average over 10 shots with a 13 fps dispersed velocity from low to high... I am very pleased with the results! I will be loading up a few rounds and stretch this old girl's legs in the near future...

Cool deal. I've never shot a rifle in that caliber before. It sounds like your load will be a great performer.

Well I stretched her legs for the first time today...I was shooting a 9x10" steel plate at 536yds, this rifle is so accurate that it ALMOST got boring to keep doing it over and over...the wind was blowing from 3 to 9 o'clock, 10 to 15 mph and my kestrel made it too easy...it's definitely worth the money when you realize what it does to simplify shooting...loving this rifle!
