savage lrp

Postby farmerboy78 » Fri Feb 20, 2015 7:23 am

Well I have a new rifle I put on layaway and will be paying off next week . It's a savage 12 lrp 6.5 Creedmoor. This is gonna be an awesome rifle! The 6.5 Creedmoor is said to be the .260 done right, and in this rifle combo will be a down right laser. It comes with an hs precision stock, detachable mag, fluted 1.25-1.00 diameter barrel, and their competition precision acc trigger. I have leupold qrw 30mm steel rings, a hardcore gear rail with built in level, a .125 thick kydex cheek rest, and will look through a vortex viper hs-t 4-16x44 mrad....I have bought some .243 norma brass that I will be reforming to the Creedmoor round topped with berger 140gr vld...at the moment I have reformed and trimmed some once fired rp brass with no issues at all,to do my initial breakin with.... can't wait to get this beast setup!

Sounds exciting. I'll bet it's going to be awesome. I look forward to seeing what it can do.

Very nice. I'm finally starting to get some bills paid off here. I hope I can do a build before long.

Well I have some norma .243 win brass that I reformed and neck turned to the 6.5 Creedmoor. I just ordered 200 of the hornady 123gr amax bullets. I hope to fire form and do some load development for this rifle soon...
