Model M44 Carbine

Postby Marauder 1 » Tue May 31, 2011 11:02 pm

Here is a great video for the M44 Carbine model of the Mosin Nagant
[BBvideo 425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLXakSdXAuw[/BBvideo]
Model 1944 Carbine: This carbine was introduced into service in late 1944 (with 50,000 service-test examples produced in 1943) and remained in production until 1955. Its specifications are very similar to the M1938, with the unique addition of a permanently affixed, side-folding cruciform-spike bayonet. A groove for the folded bayonet is inlet into the right side of the stock. These were in use not only by the Soviet Union, but also its various satellite nations.[1] Many of these were counter bored post-war.

Looks good to me! Price wise, I've seen them on racks in SoCal for $199+. After tax and all the fees you'd pay from a local dealer, I'd say that's great price. The C&R cost just evened itself out.

Now I'm trying to figure out what will be my first online C&R purchase. So many guns, so little money. Haha!

It's a good deal alright, they were up around $250 for awhile, and if Obama gets re-elected, they will be again!

Well if you value your second amendment rights and want to keep your Mosin Nagant's Romney is WAY better.

Just look at the UN gun control treaty this administration is pushing, remember fast and furious, remember what he said to Putin.

Touché.

Barack Osama is not any friend of mine. Anything gun related he touches reeks of BS.
