Show off your Finnish M39's

Who here has a Finn M39 custom or stock and what kind of work have you done? I'm looking for ideas for semi permanent modifications or full blown modifications.

I love the sturdiness of the Finnish Mosin, the flat wax finish, and this Belgian barrel's plumb color :D

The M-39 stock is so sweet, I could never mod one, but that's just me. The Military rifle matches shoot 'as issued', and the M-39 is the best version of an 'as issued Mosin' IMHO!

Not to mention probably the coolest bayonet ever!

All my mods are based on M91/30's since most are dime a dozen.

Here's a few of mine. First is a B Barrel with a Darrells scout mount. The second is a unissued M39 Tikka and the third is my pride and joy M39 SKY.

Yes, it is more accurate than I am by many degrees. It also is dragging me, kicking and screaming, towards hand-loading. I'm looking at prices for a basic kit now.

GOOD RIDDANCE LGR!! If there isn't a gun range in heaven, then I'm going to hell.
