going to lytle creek gun range Sunday 7-29-12

Postby notabiker » Sat Jul 28, 2012 5:58 pm

i am going to the lytle creek gun range this sunday. i think it opens at 8 am. i would like to meet and shoot with fellow Mosin owners. last time i was their they tolerated out cheep mosin ammo. i am taking 3 mosins and my savage bolt .223. i think i will do the 100 yard rifle range. if a member here would like to meet up that would be great. i will only shoot about 2 hrs. it is 20 bucks. i have targets, mucho ammo and 4 rifles. i will check my post around 8:30. i do have about 40 rounds of expensive non-magnetic ammo if i must use it. john

i shot my M-44 and 2 91-30s. it was very nice. BUT i could not use my cheep surplus ammo. i had a little feeding trouble with the good stuff ,it is shorter than our surplus ammo. sure do like shooting the M- 44 carbine. if you do not have one GET ONE.

Coincidentally, my uncle just loaned me his 1945 M44 to clean the cosmo off of and shoot. All matching and super clean! He bought it many years ago for like $80. Wish they were that price now!

Was this the first you had shot it? I'm redoing my T53's stock right now so my carbine is down until I am finished.
