Missed this when you posted it , Mark . Would this chart be fairly compatible with a M/N hand load of 43gr of Varget behind a .311 / 174gr SMK out of a 26" barrel ? Or can I use it as a handy reference in the field on a quick cold-bore shot ?
Really like to hear some thoughts on this from our very knowledgeable L/R shooters .

Drift would depend on your particular load. Muzzle velocity ambient air temperature and the b.c. of the bullet you use. Among other things.

My load is 42.5 grains of Varget. So my data should be really close to your load. I'll post some screen shots of my tables. The wind speed can be seen on the left. My scope is in mils but the chart also shows inches of drift.

That's great info , Jared . Thanks very much . Was familiar with the L.C.-Match round , but not having a chrono , I had no way to compare the data . Appears that out to five hundred , there isn't much difference , unless you're shooting for "points", but beyond that , it spreads out . And it appears that the 174 SMK has a better B.C. than the "Match Round", but I'll check that . Using Jared's data for comparison , I have a excellent reference point since we both shoot about 26" barrels . Thanks again   .
