Finding COAL in your rifle -Tip

This is the method I use to find my seating depth. It works great in every gun I've used it in.

I have and use the stoney point gauge... the exact same thing as being sold under the Hornady name.

For any other members that use the Hornady AOL gauge, I've got several modified cases for use with this gauge. viewtopic.php?f=96&t=3690

After measuring all my guns I just might start taking my OAL gauge to gun shows to check for chamber erosion. I seam to be rather bad at judging a barrel by just looking at the riffling down the boar and Chamber erosion in all my guns seams to be pretty predictive of how shot a barrel is.
