At about 43sec it says that lighter gain bullets require faster twist rates. Isn't that wrong?

But thanks for posting all these. its great to have all these videos posted here. It takes for ever to find good stuff like this on youtube.

Good catch Ben. That is a mistake. Heavier bullets need a faster rate twist. I hope I'm not burrying everyone in videos. I just decided to post some videos that have helped me with long range hunting over the past few years. I have learned a lot from these gun gurus. The long range shooting has seemed to taken off here so I'm hoping these are being liked instead of annoying.

http://www.riflebarrels.com/products/ca ... _rates.htm

According to this some of the smaller bullets have a faster rate of twist required to stabilize the projectile. 1 revolution in 7 or 9 inches of barrel is faster then 1 revolution in 10 - 11 or 12 inches of barrel length. The rate of twist needs to be increased as much as 1 in 8 for projectiles that are run at 1126 fps or less. Rifles that there primary purpose is sub-sonic work usually have a 1 in 8 inch rate of twist. As the caliber and the weight go up, the rate of twist hangs at 1 in 10 to 12 inches.
