hey guys, I recently built myself a steel target to pound with my rifles... got a chance to take it out today with my k31 and my custom 28/76...the k31 was decent and what I would call average for the swiss with gp11 ammo, but my .308 bore 28/76 with handloads is just darn surgical... my load is norma 7.62x54r brass, 175 gr SMK, 54 gr IMR 4350, WLR primer, with a medium crimp, redfield battlezone tac-moa 3-9x40... i shot the k31 first and circled the 200 yd group and then my 28/76, starting at 400,450, and then 500 yds... my 400 yard group was 3 shots about 11/2" low... my 450 was 3 shots low and right due to the wind, and the 500 was 4 shots left factoring for the wind, seems the wind slacked on me on one shot... need to learn how to judge wind better... i am stoked about my results... WOW!!!
