Got to qualify out to 800 yards. Started at 500yrd. nice four shoot group within 4". Went to 600yrd. was on target all 5 shoots. Then 800yrd. the wind picked up used a few more rounds but got 3 shots on target. Only had 2 rounds left to go for 1000yrd. got first shot on target second was just off the left, wind was caulming down and not relizing it.

Nice shooting Jason -- Thousand yd is a lot of fun -- keep up the good work. Are you shooting hand loads? If so whats your favorite load.

Wow. A first round hit at 1000 is pretty darn good. Excellent work.

Mark we have a medal for 1000 yards I think he earned it especially since he got a first shot hit at that distance!

I'm shooting 175gr.bthp Barnes match burners with 53gr of imr4350 with Norma brass at 3.00" over all length. Didn't get a chance to chronograph it. Was using drop info from a standard .308. Ended up .5 mil less on elevation than the .308

Nice shooting!! :thumbup:

.5 MILs higher than a .308... I'm sure your doing atleast 2700 fps, maybe 2750 fps with those bullets.
