My SKS is here in CA

Postby Marauder 1 » Mon Jul 22, 2013 12:00 am

Well thank the good Lord I finally was able to procure a nice SKS that is CA legal. It arrived wearing a prototype scout mount from Brass Stacker and a red dot scope.

After I do some tests I may trade out the TruGlow red dot for an EOTech style site. The mount is quite interesting an very solid.

I think I'm going to look for a replacement stock. The upper on this one shows some serious wear. Anyway, just 9 more days and I can pick her up from the shop..

I'd be ecstatic just to have a decent trigger on mine.

Nice addition to your collection Mark. What is done to it to make it CA legal?
As for the red dot the vortex strikefire is pretty awesome. I actually have two of them now. One going on an AR pistol I'm building.
