after I have reloaded them a few times I submerge them in tap water for a little while and agitate them. then I put them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven that is about 200 deg to dry them out. You only have to really worry about rust if there is moisture present. Moisture is what will cause the rust with the salts that are left over... I havent had any rusted case issues as things just do not rust that fast. if its a minor surface rust on the inside its not a big deal.
Dont throw out your Berdan primed cartridges they can be reloaded.....go to www.russianreloads.com to see how.
