Which is even bigger then after measuring the bore with a caliper.

What did you use to slug the 8mm?

How soft are they?

My bore slugs at .3095" and I shoot .312" bullets in it all the time with 0 issues. Accurate too.

I use the same sinkers to slug my bores. Easy to start and go right through.

Well I hope you don't recommend it as a normal practice... You lay tremendous stress on your action & bolt head... Your rifle would appreciate if you'd use something closer the to bore diameter. I'm sure.
Just a friendly advice... ;)

Worse part about that T is that is after the barreled action was soaked on Curd Kutter for 3 days. The receiver cleaned up ok but that chamber was toast. The first 5 inches or so of the barrel was almost smooth from being eaten by rust or corrosive ammo. I do believe that my Blindee was a parts rifle or in process of being converted and then abandoned.

Thanks for spinning that off for me BTW, let me know what I owe you.
