Safe Powder Storage

Postby Shepard » Sun Jan 26, 2014 8:48 pm

I'd like some input as to weather freezing temperatures will harm rifle propellant. I know that people go hunting and that doesn't hurt the powder in any way. I'm talking about storing powder in an unheated out building. Its in the original jugs - unopened and inside a waterproof air tight 40mm ammo can.
All that I have read talks about heat being propellants worst enemy. It doesn't go to the other extreme. I says store in a cool dry place. Is -5 too cool?
I walk in the foot steps of Carlos Hathcock -- to my end.

I've adopted an old fridge (unplugged) in a garage as a storage...
