How does this one look? it has 50MOA of adjustability. I cant really tell if it has FFP reticle.

Sightron SIII scopes are pretty nice scopes... Definitely more money than a Falcon, or a fixed SS. If you can afford it, It'll serve you pretty well.

This model has a SFP reticle... Yes, all the 'tactical' guys want FFP reticles. It's the 'thing' to have... however realistically, I don't feel like you lose that much with a SFP reticle. Unless you are shooting in tactical precision matches, you won't range using the reticle... you either know the range, or can easily use a laser range finder, or google earth to come up with a range. It's totally personal preference though.

I assume Shepard will be helping you mount the base?? With 50 MOA total adjustment, I would definitely put some cant in the base... Jerry knows what he's doing!

Edit: I was just re reading the email. Its coming in rosewood! I am totally amped now. I love rose wood.

Tmney arrived friday. These triggers are awesome!! My first build #1 has a trigger pul like no other rifle I have ever fired!

Today I ordered a cheep barska scope. Later I will get a Sightron or a Falcon but for now I cant afford them. When I do get a better scop the Barska will go on my 22 rim fire. It will be more than enough for that gun.

I also ordeered a Rock solid scop mount for the round receiver. Should be here next week.

I did get an email from Bluegrass saying my stock was almost done but that was more than two weeks ago. Have not heard anthing since. I did email them back so we will see.

Wait till you try one of my custom springs and a trigger shoe in with that Timney Grim! Talked with Morgan today he's starting to catchup on his back log, you should have something very soon.

What is this custom spring and shoe you speak of?? And what do they do?? If these are for sale and make some sort of improvement to the trigger I may be interested.

Thanks,
Jared

I know about the trigger shoe but not the spring. I'm always up for ideas of how to improve my Mosin!
