Norma 7.62 russian ammo

Postby farmerboy78 » Thu Jan 16, 2014 1:10 pm

Hey guys I thought I would let you guys know something I found today, I recently bought some old norma 7.62 russian ammo on gb basically for the brass but I figured I'd shoot it first...I couldn't get it to punch holes, it I pulled the rest and put my calipers on the bullets...and to my surprise, even though russian bores are .311 these bullets were .307, no wonder??? Just thought I'd pass that around in case any of you come across any of this...

Ones I've purchased Sellier & Bellot 20 rd. box at Azuza shooting range... Even though they were very expensive, they performed poorly... I guess for the same reason.
