Glock brand is like English for me...
You know, English language is not my first language & for some time it was foreign to me; saying that, I mean, I had to turn my brain over to make myself comfortable to communicate using this language... It caused a lot of stress. Time came by & English became my "synonymous" language, I no longer stress nor even think about how express myself, it just happens... So much so, not every one whom I speak to identify me as a foreigner... To me English became my alternative native language, I even think in English often! It's like another Russian...))) I catch myself often watching movies or some videos that I'm not even sure what language I hear, Russian or English...!)))
I know, it sounds weird somewhat, but I'm very happy to realize that...
So, my point is, more I'm exposed to Glock, more I understand whole concept behind the design... & more I appreciate & admire the design thought behind it...
Glock is a pinnacle of simplicity in handgun world, any discomfort or distrust for practical use of this gun is most likely caused by usage deficiency or traditional mind set, just like English for a foreigner!
So, my suggestion for any who don't like Glock, just buy one & spend some time with this gun, take it apart, look in to the guts, shoot it, load it, think about it, think about the concept behind the design... I'm sure, you'll understand me...
