My UK59 barrel Mosin shot better than this rifle today. This is a group from the Mosin. Nothing worth sharing from the 300 win mag :( Image

I would go with the 26" barrel as it will let you burn a slow powder completey. Velocity is king for long range work! The 26Nosler has a long barrel too.

In going back and re-reading this , it is freakin amazing what we've learned about scopes , ballistics , and L/R shooting in just six short years. Velocity is not King , and the Vortex Golden Eagle is out-selling the NF scopes hands down . Quality being debatably as good , and for a thousand less . Higher B.C. bullets , and 30" is the common length of a competition rifle barrel now . Some are even 32"...My current Mosin , Open F Class rifle has a 30" Bartlein 5r - MTU profile barrel , and I'm shooting 200.20x Berger's at 2,740 - 2750fps. Little did we know , such a short time ago . Another component shortage; with all things shooting related in short , or no supplies available . Shocking that it coincides with another Demon-crat being elected as the cities burned with BLM "peaceful protests", and Bi-dumb threw the gates open to hundreds of thousands of illegals , that our Grandchildren will be paying for till they reach our age . Look at what SOME still haven't learned ! Sad , so sad .
If not me.....Who ?
If not now ....When ?
